2026 JConcepts Stock Nationals: the Californian stock meeting

The 2026 JConcepts Stock Nationals, held at Coyote Hobbies in California, gathered more than 265 entries. The event was built around an Invitational class bringing together eighteen selected drivers, alongside an open-class programme that kept the track busy all weekend. The stock format, which caps motor power, puts chassis development and tyre choice front and centre: exactly the playing field where JConcepts expects its drivers to shine.

Davey Batta crowned Invitational overall champion

In the Invitational overall classification, Davey Batta came out on top ahead of Levi Raymond and Chase Raymond. The detail of the two classes shows just how close the fight was: in 17.5 2WD Buggy it was Levi Raymond who won, with Davey Batta second and Doug Lariviere third. The balance of power flipped in 4WD Buggy, where Davey Batta dominated ahead of Chase Raymond and Carlos Arredondo. That consistency across both disciplines was enough for Batta to take the overall title.

Jimmy Fishback doubles up on TQ in the open classes

In the open classes, Jimmy Fishback put in a notable performance by taking pole in 17.5 2WD Buggy as well as 13.5 4WD Buggy, ahead of Ryan Prince and Cole Blankenship on one side, Connor Esbeck and Tyler Hicks on the other. Among the 40+, Jeff Guest took pole in 17.5 2WD Buggy ahead of Randall Tanaka and Eddie Laret, the latter taking his revenge by claiming TQ in 40+ 13.5 4WD Buggy.

Edward Garcia also completed a double in Independent, with pole in 21.5 2WD Buggy and 17.5 4WD Buggy. On the truck side, Tyler Hicks stood out in 17.5 Stadium Truck against Cole Blankenship and Robert Krusbe, while the 17.5 Short Course class went to Action Jackson ahead of Brody Honea and Robert Krusbe, who set pole.
