Japanese tuning brand TRION is making a strong move in the 1:10 buggy market with a new wide front suspension mount for the Team Associated B7. This TRION kit, part number TE-AFWSAE275, is machined from black aluminum for a contained weight of about 13.3 grams, and promises to noticeably sharpen the chassis’ steering response, according to information relayed by Japanese site RC Monkey on October 2, 2026.
A reversible skid angle to fine-tune the B7 suspension mount’s behavior
A key feature of this part: the skid angle can be reversed from +2.5° to -2.5° depending on how it’s mounted. This reversibility lets drivers fine-tune front-end geometry without needing extra spare parts, a handy advantage for adapting to different tracks or driving styles.
But the most notable trait of this TRION mount lies elsewhere: it’s designed to accept the front suspension arms from the B6.4, which are shorter than those stock on the Team Associated B7. By shortening the front arms, TRION aims to speed up initial steering response and make the buggy feel sharper when attacking corners.
This cross-compatibility comes at a cost, however: the B6.4 front arms must be bought separately, as they aren’t included with the mount. Users will also need to readjust the upper arm length to restore the desired camber, and adapt the sway bar mounting point, since the B6 and B7 arms don’t share the same anchor point there.
Priced at 3,200 yen (about 20 euros) on the brand’s official site, this wide front suspension mount adds to the tuning options available to Team Associated B7 drivers chasing a sharper handling balance. No European reseller has been identified for this part so far.
