SkyRC launches the battery-powered T04 transponder for its LapWiz system

Over 12 hours of runtime

SkyRC is expanding its LapWiz timing system with a new transponder called the T04, this time powered by a built-in 140 mAh LiPo battery. Measuring 30.8 x 18.5 x 11 mm and weighing just 6.5 grams, it is rated for over 12 hours of continuous runtime, enough to last a full day of racing without a recharge.

Motion sensing and dual infrared emitters

SkyRC‘s T04 transponder features motion sensing for automatic wake-up, dual infrared emitters for extra reliability, and an adjustable range of 4 to 10 meters depending on settings. Vehicle ID configuration is done via Bluetooth and charging via USB-C. Pricing has not been announced, but availability is expected by the end of October 2026.
