Kyosho adds a new model to its oval/short-course lineup with the Outlaw Renegade RWD, a variant of its 2RSA chassis series. The kit features a 1980s-inspired pickup body, redesigned and widened by 10mm compared to the previous version to accommodate a wider track and improved grip.
A 70% pre-assembled ARR kit
The Kyosho Outlaw Renegade comes in ARR (Almost Ready to Run) form, shipped 70% assembled but without electronics (radio, ESC, motor and servo are sold separately). The RWD chassis uses double wishbone front suspension paired with a rear sway bar, along with aluminum shock bodies to handle jumps and bashing abuse.
On the finishing side, the truck comes with silver chrome wheels wrapped in tread-pattern tires, two spare rear tires included in the box, an aluminum front skid plate, and a three-piece front fender set. The center of gravity and motor position have also been lowered to improve cornering stability.
Price and availability
The Kyosho Outlaw Renegade RWD 2RSA (part #34364) is priced at ¥54,780, roughly $350, with shipping expected in November 2026.
