The American brand Reflex Racing has announced the Reflex Racing MF-1 body, a clear Lexan shell designed for 1/28 pan cars running on carpet. Presented as the Lexan version of the MF-1 range already known in ABS, this new body targets drivers looking for neutral handling and improved stability on corner exit.
On track, the MF-1 stands out with neutral corner entry, smooth rotation and good stability on corner exit. The profile has been reworked to generate more aerodynamic downforce while keeping a low center of gravity, an advantage on carpet tracks where grip changes quickly over the course of a session. The body specifically targets the 3500 and Open Modified classes, both very popular among 1/28 pan car drivers.
Reflex Racing MF-1: two weights to adapt to carpet grip
The Reflex Racing MF-1 is offered in two distinct weights to match track conditions. The heavier 13g version is recommended on low-grip carpet, where it better withstands contact and off-track excursions. Conversely, the lighter 11g version is designed for high-grip surfaces, where it delivers more responsiveness without sacrificing stability.
Announced at a retail price of 24 dollars, the body is listed as “coming soon” at Reflex Racing, with no European availability date announced at this time.
