CRC (Calandra Racing Concepts) expands the tuning options of its 1/10 on-road replicas F-Won (Formula 1) and M-200 (World GT-R) with a new 2.5mm aluminum chassis. Since both kits come standard with a carbon chassis, this gives racers an additional tuning avenue to fine-tune the car’s behavior.
A precisely machined CRC F-Won/M200 chassis
According to CRC, the aluminum part goes through multiple manufacturing procedures to ensure the chassis is perfectly flat and precisely machined, a key point for repeatability from car to car. Aluminum generally offers different stiffness and inertia characteristics than carbon, letting drivers adjust the overall flex of their F-Won or M-200 to suit track conditions.
This option is aimed at F1 1/10 and GT 1/10 racers looking to explore a more direct setup than the stock carbon chassis.
