Adur hosts Elliott Harper’s coronation in BRCA Touring Car
The British BRCA Touring Car Championship closed its 2026 season on September 8 at the Adur circuit, for a fifth and final round that merely confirmed a decision already made: Elliott Harper, on a Schumacher chassis, had sealed the overall title back at round 4 in July at West London.
Harper wraps up the season in style in the top class
At Adur, Harper left nothing to chance: top qualifying time followed by victory in the Touring Car final, ahead of Matthieu Dambrine and Chris Grainger. A display that crowns a near-flawless season for the Schumacher driver.
Payne wins 17.5 Stock, Southall untouchable in FWD
The meeting’s other classes delivered their verdict: in 17.5 Stock, Ollie Payne took the final round win ahead of Finley Whitelock, who set the fastest qualifying time, and Sam Nicholls. In front-wheel drive (FWD), Ethan Southall dominated the weekend, taking both top qualifying and the final win.
A BRCA Touring Car season closes until 2027
With this round at Adur, the British 1/10 electric touring championship wraps up a season that saw Elliott Harper dominate from start to finish. See you in 2027 for a new BRCA Touring Car Championship campaign.
