British competition off-road gains one more address: Trackside Performance announced on 2 September 2026 that it was becoming the official PR Racing distributor in the United Kingdom. The retailer, already specialised in 1/8 and 1/10 electric off-road, handles both the complete kits and the brand’s spare parts.
Four PR Racing kits to launch the range
The launch range deliberately sticks to the essentials, with four 1/10 electric kits split by surface. The PR Racing B10R, a 2WD buggy, is offered in a carpet version and a dirt version at £399.99 each. The SB401-R, the brand’s 4WD, follows the same logic with a carpet and a dirt variant, at £529.99 apiece.
This split by surface, now common among competition buggy makers, avoids buying a kit and then adding half an option catalogue to it: each version arrives with the geometry, springs and settings suited to the intended surface, indoor carpet on one side, outdoor dirt on the other.
A pitch built around value for money
The argument put forward by the distributor is a classic one, but it speaks to club racers: PR Racing kits arrive already well equipped with aluminium parts and have a reputation for performing straight out of the box, without going through a long list of costly options. In other words, the listed price is close to the real price once the car is race-ready — which is not always the case in this category.
Availability
The four kits, along with PR Racing spare parts, are available from the Trackside Performance store. For British racers, the arrival of local stock changes one thing above all: the lead times and import costs on wear parts, which until now weighed heavily on a season’s budget for a brand still thinly distributed on the island.
