Cayote CREST Stocki: a rear end cap with hall sensor board to restore a clean signal

Cayote now offers a CREST Stocki rear end cap fitted with a hall sensor board, a maintenance part intended for its competition brushless motors. The goal is simple: give a clean sensor signal back to a motor whose sensors have aged, without having to replace the whole unit.
What the hall sensor board does
In a sensored brushless motor, it is the hall sensors that tell the speed controller the exact position of the rotor. When those sensors degrade — heat, vibration, moisture, dust — the signal becomes erratic. The symptom is familiar to every driver: cogging on take-off, unpredictable motor response at low rpm, sometimes an outright stall coming out of a hairpin. Replacing the board resets that part of the motor.
Compatible with all Stocki motors
Cayote announces compatibility with the entire Stocki motor range, whatever the winding. A single reference therefore covers the whole fleet, which simplifies life for drivers who switch between several turns across classes and tracks. Fitting is described as straightforward, with no particular work beyond replacing the rear end cap.
A wear part not to be overlooked
The rear end cap and its board are among those items easily forgotten at service time, even though they directly determine motor consistency over a full season. Having a dedicated spare on hand avoids wrongly blaming the speed controller or the programming for a handling problem. The part is distributed in Europe by Wartelle Shop, among others.
