Injora C60: double-jointed axles for the Axial UTB10 Capra

Injora is expanding its crawler range with the C60, a complete axle set intended for the Axial UTB10 Capra in 1.9. Sold ready to fit, they replace the entire original axle drivetrain and target crawler drivers held back by steering angle and by the fragility of single-joint shafts.

47° of steering thanks to the double-joint shafts

The main selling point lies in the hardened alloy steel double-joint axle shafts. This layout allows around 47° of steering angle without any driveline binding at full lock, where a single joint loses torque and vibrates as soon as the angle rises. High-clearance C-hubs and a low-profile differential cover round off the package to preserve ground clearance over technical sections.

Removable brass: front balance becomes a setting, not a given

The steering knuckles carry removable brass weights. The idea is a clever one: you can load the front end for extra grip on climbs, then take the weights out when the course calls for more agility. Injora does point out one thing worth knowing before buying: with the original Axial Capra wheels, the front knuckle brass weights must be removed to avoid any interference with the wheels’ inner screws.

Behind-the-axle servo, in AMS as well as CMS

The C60 includes a low-mounted behind-the-axle (BTA) servo mount, along with a scale-style double-ended hydraulic steering ram and detailed differential covers. Two sets of steering links are supplied to cover both an axle-mounted servo (AMS) and a chassis-mounted servo (CMS) setup, which saves having to improvise depending on the chosen configuration.

Specifications and price

Housings and knuckles are aluminium, the front and rear helical gears are alloy steel with an 8/30 ratio. The set measures 237 mm long and weighs 354 g for the front axle, 161 g for the rear. The C60 is compatible with the 1/10 Axial Capra as well as with Injora‘s own LCG chassis. The complete set is offered at $199.99, in black (part no. C60-BK) or silver.
