Xbility RC has opened pre-orders for the XB-SF, a 1/28 rear-wheel-drive racing chassis whose whole pitch revolves around a deliberately simplified front end — hence the “Simple Front” name. Announced price: $299.99 without servo, with stock estimated for 31 August 2026.

A front end rethought for simplicity

The knuckles get internal O-rings that handle damping and take up play, and the servo sits on a floating mount. The idea is to cut down the number of parts and parasitic adjustments at a scale where every bit of friction counts. Ride height is set with stainless steel shims, camber with interchangeable king pins and caster with dedicated carbon plates.

Carbon chassis and brass weights

The main plate is carbon fibre, with brass weights positioned at specific spots to fine-tune distribution. The tweak plate and motor pod have been redesigned to lower the centre of gravity.

3-point ball differential

The drivetrain is built around Xbility‘s own 3-point ball differential. The kit ships with wheels and side discs; only the servo, the electronics and the body are missing.
