The JConcepts INS Fall Indoor Nationals 2026 have just wrapped up at the HobbyTown HobbyPlex, with just over 300 entries on the entry list. Eight classes were on the programme at this indoor round of the INS series, from 1/10 modified buggies to 13.5 Stadium Trucks and Short Course, and Sunday’s finals were run in the triple A-main format.

A race format spread over four days

The weekend followed the series’ now familiar schedule: controlled practice on Thursday, seeding and the first qualifying rounds on Friday, two more qualifiers on Saturday, then the mains on Sunday. Qualifying was scored on a best two out of three basis, a formula that gives a second chance to drivers caught out by a collision or a breakage.

Aydin Horne and Chase Lemieux dominate the modified classes

The showdown at the JConcepts INS Fall Indoor Nationals 2026 was between Aydin Horne and Chase Lemieux. The former won the 2WD Modified main ahead of Chase Lemieux and Davey Batta. The latter took his revenge in 4WD Modified, where he beat Broc Champlin and Aydin Horne. Reigning IFMAR World Champion Broc Champlin therefore rounds out the podium in the premier four-wheel-drive class.

A JConcepts sweep in 13.5 Stadium Truck

The 13.5 Stadium Truck class produced the highlight of the weekend: Nick Gibson, Emerson Sturgeon and Owen Vanderbeek, all three JConcepts drivers, locked out the entire podium. The brand was also to the fore in 17.5 Expert 2WD with the one-two of Matthew Gonzales and Kadin Meeks, and in 13.5 Short Course with Dalton Condradt’s win.

The JConcepts equipment seen on track

On the equipment side, JConcepts drivers mostly ran Smoothie 2.0 tyres mounted on Mono wheels and fitted with Dirt Tech inserts. The P2, Striker and F2 bodies were also widely used, as were the brand’s radial bearings and Fin Titanium turnbuckles.

One round remains on the INS series calendar before the titles are decided: the finale is now set.
