The CNOR championship (Mexico) has delivered its verdict, and it bears the signature of Serpent. Driver Juan Carlos Barajas Jr claimed two championship titles and a runner-up finish across three different categories contested at this 2026 edition.

A Nitro Sedan title with the Serpent Natrix 750 EVO

In the Nitro Sedan category, Barajas Jr took the win at the wheel of the Serpent Natrix 750 EVO, the brand’s 200mm 4WD car dedicated to 1/10 on-road nitro racing. A victory that confirms the chassis’s competitiveness in a demanding format where consistency is key.

Also champion in Nitro GT on the SRX8 GT R

The Mexican driver signed a second title in the Nitro GT category, this time with the Serpent SRX8 GT R, the brand’s reference 1/8 on-road nitro GT car. Two disciplines, two titles: a performance that highlights the versatility of the Barajas team across Serpent’s entire on-road nitro range.

Runner-up in Nitro 1/8 with the 990R

In the third category on the program, off-road Nitro 1/8, Juan Carlos Barajas Jr had to settle for second place with the Serpent 990R, the brand’s 1/8 nitro buggy. A podium that rounds out an exceptional CNOR weekend for the Barajas camp.

Serpent publicly congratulated the driver and his team for their success and dedication to the brand’s products, underlining the reliability of its platforms in such a hotly contested competition.
