The IFMAR 1:8 off-road nitro Worlds, held at the Thornhill Racing Circuit in Hutto, Texas, also crowned their junior world champions. For JConcepts, it was Phi-Long Nguyen who took the title, confirming the depth of the American brand’s junior roster.

Nguyen secured his junior world title while his teammates shone in the senior class: Mason Fuller took overall TQ in qualifying (with three round wins) before finishing 2nd in the Main final, just ahead of Juan Carlos Canas (3rd). Spencer Rivkin, Ryan Maifield, Brandon Rose and Seth VanDalen rounded out the JConcepts lineup inside the final’s top 12. In the Junior Exhibition, Hyunkyu Jung won ahead of Dylan Toia, and Adam Drake took the Masters Exhibition.
The brand used the event to preview several new 1:8 buggy products, proof it is already gearing up for the rest of the season.
