Team Associated RC8: New 66mm Springs in 1.4mm Wire for Fine Setup Tuning

Team Associated expands its shock range with new Team Associated RC8 66mm spring options in 1.4mm wire diameter, available across the entire RC8 lineup. This release targets 1/8 nitro and electric buggy drivers looking to fine-tune handling without changing overall spring rate.

66mm RC8 springs: a wire diameter that changes the feel

According to Team Associated, a spring with the same nominal rate but a different wire diameter produces a distinct suspension feel, impossible to replicate with standard springs. Key features:

• Length: 66mm
• Wire diameter: 1.4mm
• Usable front or rear
• Compatible with the entire RC8 range (RC8B4, RC8B4e, RC8B4.1, RC8B4.1e and their nitro/electric variants)

An extra shock collar recommended at the rear

Team Associated notes that using two shock collars at the rear may be necessary to restore the desired ride height with these new springs, a precaution to keep in mind before starting the setup process.

These springs add to the RC8 shock customization program, where Team Associated already offers numerous rate and wire diameter combinations for its 1/8 chassis.
