Sparko Racing: Adjustable-Caster Aluminum C-Hubs for 1/8 Buggy

Sparko Racing expands its optional parts range with a new adjustable-caster aluminum C-hub system for 1/8 buggy. The idea is simple: instead of buying several sets of C-hubs to change caster angle, you keep the same hub and only swap an insert.

Three caster angles with a single C-hub

The system relies on interchangeable inserts that give access to 18°, 20° and 22° of caster. A smaller angle makes the car sharper on corner entry, a larger angle brings more stability under load and on big landings. The change takes a few minutes in the pits, without removing the entire front suspension arm.

Pairs with the Sparko Racing KPI spindles

This new aluminum C-hub adds to the Sparko Racing steering spindle range, already available in 0°, 4° and 7° KPI. Combining the two settings opens up a very wide range of handling on the same chassis base, from tight lines on dry dirt to fast, flowing tracks.

The upper and lower turnbuckle mounting positions are also adjustable, which keeps suspension geometry consistent after an insert change instead of causing an unwanted shift in camber or travel.

Who is it for?

This optional part is aimed at the brand’s 1/8 buggy and truggy drivers looking to fine-tune their setup from track to track. Aluminum also brings extra rigidity over the stock plastic in an area that takes a lot of abuse from contact and rough landings.
