Japanese manufacturer Option No.1 launches a steering conversion kit designed to reposition the motor forward on the touring 1/10 Tamiya TT-02 chassis, referenced OP1-011.
More load on the front axle
According to Option No.1, this modification increases the load on the TT-02’s front axle, which stabilizes the car’s behavior on dusty asphalt, on cold-weather tracks, and in rally configuration.
A 3D-printed part
The kit is 3D-printed and may require light machining to remove any burrs, as is often the case for this type of small-batch part from specialized Japanese manufacturers.
Availability
Priced at 3,500 yen before tax, this Option No.1 conversion kit for the Tamiya TT-02 is expected in stores in early October 2026.
