JConcepts expands its shock catalog with a new range of 13mm pistons featuring a design signed by Brian Kinwald, labeled “BK Design.” Machined from Delrin, a low-friction material, these pistons aim to improve shock consistency in TT1/8.
A channeled design for extra oil volume
The BK design stands out with channels that increase the active oil volume inside the shock body, an extra chamber that improves consistency of movement on both compression and rebound. According to JConcepts, test drivers reported noticeably increased grip thanks to this exclusive design.
Nine references available
The range comes in six 2-hole models (1.5mm to 2.0mm drillings, references 5327 to 5332) and three 3-hole models (1.5mm to 1.7mm drillings, references 5333 to 5335), with tight tolerances to limit oil leakage.

The new 13mm JConcepts BK Design shock pistons are available now through the brand’s usual dealers.
