Max Gotzl scores a perfect double at the Czech Open on his Xray XB8 and XB8E

Czech driver Max Gotzl delivered an impressive double at the final round of the Czech Open, held at the RCDJ track in Horní Jelení, Czech Republic. Driving his Xray XB8E and XB8, he claimed both season titles, in both the electric and nitro categories.

A perfect score in both Ebuggy and Nitro

In the Ebuggy category (1/8 electric), Max Gotzl took the win on his Xray XB8E ahead of Daniel Hofman and Ales Bidovsky, also on XB8E. In the Nitro category (1/8 nitro), Max Gotzl again dominated on his Xray XB8/FX, ahead of Ales Bidovsky and Vojtech Hujer on FX.

A flawless season

Across the three rounds of the Czech Open season, Max Gotzl posted a perfect score: 3 TQs and 3 wins in each of the two categories, confirming both the driver’s versatility and the competitiveness of the Xray XB8 and XB8E chassis in electric as well as nitro power.

A hotly contested TT1/8 discipline

The Czech Open confirms the very high level of Czech off-road TT1/8 racing, with a field that saw several Xray drivers fighting for the podium spots throughout the season.
