JConcepts and the PDX RC club announce the 6th annual West Coast Carpet Championship, taking place October 23-25, 2026 at the PDX RC Raceway indoor track in Portland, Oregon. The event has grown over the years into a must-attend fixture of carpet racing on the American West Coast.

Fresh carpet, matching the ROAR Carpet Nationals

A key detail for this edition: PDX RC will be installing brand new carpet the week before the race, the same carpet that will be used at the ROAR Carpet Nationals in April 2027. The event therefore acts as a dress rehearsal for drivers eyeing the national championship.

Several top-level drivers have already confirmed their attendance, starting with reigning world champion Broc Champlin, joined by national champions Jovy Levin and Brad Borneil, promising a stacked field across the touring and electric off-road classes.
