At Japan’s Tsukuba RC Park in Yatabe, Yoshiyasu Yanagisawa (Xpress) claimed the JMRCA All-Japan Touring Car 1/10 national title, a redemption after finishing runner-up last year at the same venue.
Yanagisawa on pole, Sobue and Yamamoto round out the top three
In qualifying, Yanagisawa took two of three round wins to secure top qualifier honours, ahead of back-to-back defending champion Akio Sobue (Axon) and Ryosuke Yamamoto (Infinity).
The title decided in A2
Across three finals, Yanagisawa won the opening final and A2, beating Sobue both times, which was enough to seal the championship before the last final. Sobue won the final A3, with Yamamoto finishing 2nd there to complete the overall podium. At Xpress, Yanagisawa’s teammate Yugo Nagashima, who qualified 5th, gained one position in the finals to finish 4th overall.
