Online retailer Big Bang Hobbies has announced an alliance with Robert Batlle, the Spanish driver crowned IFMAR 1/8 nitro off-road world champion in 2012 and currently a driver and team manager at Sworkz. Batlle’s personal project, 36Mood, isn’t disappearing but merging with the Big Bang Hobbies platform: 36mood.com now redirects to bigbanghobbies.com.
A partnership designed to strengthen the RC offering
Both parties’ stated goal is to combine Big Bang Hobbies’ e-commerce, logistics and catalog expertise with the racing pedigree, technical know-how and international community Robert Batlle built around 36Mood, rather than having one project replace the other.
The two brands will therefore continue to coexist on a single platform, aiming to offer RC enthusiasts a more complete proposition.
