Injora MBL32-NANO: the waterproof brushless combo that wakes up the Axial SCX30

The Axial SCX30 micro crawler fits in one hand, but its original electronics quickly limit any appetite for faster crawling. Injora now offers a complete brushless combo cut for this 1/30 chassis: the MBL32-NANO speed controller paired with the 4800 KV 1616 Green Viper motor.
Injora MBL32-NANO: a 9.5 gram speed controller
The MBL32-NANO fits within 25.5 x 15 x 12 mm for just 9.5 g, while remaining waterproof. It delivers 25 A continuous and handles 45 A peaks, on 2S LiPo packs. Its BEC offers an output switchable between 6.0 and 7.4 V, enough to power a modern servo without an additional converter. On the compatibility side, Injora lists the ESC as working with its own 1616, 1621 and 1721 motors.
The 1616 Green Viper 4800 KV motor
The motor chosen for this combo is a waterproof sensorless brushless outrunner of 4800 KV, fed at 7.4 V, for a maximum draw of 10 A. It measures 15.5 mm in diameter by 15.5 mm long and weighs 9.7 g, with an 11-tooth 0.3 module pinion supplied. Compared with the original Green Viper, Injora claims a higher KV, therefore a higher top speed, in an even more compact package.
Price and availability
The ESC plus motor combo is listed at 61.99 dollars from Injora, with the MBL32-NANO alone offered at 30.99 dollars for those who wish to keep their current motor. A 4300 KV 1621 variant is also in the catalogue for those who favour torque over speed.
