Setting the ride height of an RC car remains one of the most sensitive setup points — and one of the most awkward to measure precisely with a mechanical tool. Ruddog tackles the problem with its new Digital Ride Height Gauge, a digital gauge covering a 2 to 40 mm range.
A 2-40 mm range that covers every class
With 2 to 40 mm of measuring travel, the tool suits 1/12 on-road pan cars and 1/10 touring cars just as well as 1/10 buggies and 1/8 off-road machines. A single gauge is therefore enough for a driver moving between disciplines, where fixed gauges traditionally mean owning several.
Aluminium housing, large display and USB-C charging
Construction uses a high-quality aluminium housing, a guarantee of durability in a race pit. Readings are shown on a 2 cm digital display, wide enough to be read quickly between heats. Power comes from an integrated LiPo battery recharged over USB-C: no more coin cell to swap at the worst possible moment.
The unit measures 53 x 30 x 16 mm, plus a 55 mm measuring lever. Ruddog supplies the tool with a calibration accessory, essential to maintain accuracy over time, and a carbon-look hard case with red accents for transport.
