Injora IR90-24: a flexible SCX24 body with magnetic mounting

An SCX24 body cut for the 155 mm wheelbase

On the same day as its LCG carbon chassis, Injora listed the IR90-24, an SCX24 body aimed at 155 mm wheelbase chassis. It sells for $30.99 under part number IR90-24CL for the clear version.

The brand quotes 245 × 90 × 68 mm for 36 g, a weight that matters at this scale where every gram placed high is paid for on side hills. The material is a soft polycarbonate, chosen to take crawling impacts without splitting, where a rigid body eventually cracks at the corners.

Magnetic mounting rather than body pins

The IR90-24 ships with a CNC aluminium rear magnetic body mount and an adhesive hook-and-loop strip. It is the underlying trend in small-scale crawling: get rid of the posts and pins, which get in the way of battery access and damage the body every time it is handled, in favour of magnets that let the shell come off in one movement.

Five colours and two sticker sheets

The body comes in clear, black, purple, blue and green. The clear version is supplied with its paint masks, enough to produce a custom scheme without freehand cutting. Two sheets of detailed stickers are included in every case.

Compatibility

Injora announces the IR90-24 as compatible with the stock chassis of the Axial SCX24 Gladiator and Power Wagon, as well as with its own 155 mm LCG carbon chassis (INC-24L-C) released the same day. Both products went online on 29 August 2026 on the brand’s store.
