The JConcepts Dragonator is the new 1/10 body designed for the Schumacher Cat PB 2WD buggy. Announced on 27 August 2026, it marks a genuine stylistic turn in the American manufacturer’s buggy range, with an unapologetic “all-cab” silhouette and lines borrowed from early-2000s performance cars.
An all-cab concept that owns its references
What sets the Dragonator apart is its cabin stretched over the entire length of the body. The side windows, very large in surface area, converge towards the front in an arrow shape and give the buggy a visual signature that is instantly recognisable on the starting grid. The rear section of the cab adopts a decreasing radius, while a stepped “doghouse” closes off the rear.
Aerodynamics, not just styling
Beneath this retro-futuristic look, JConcepts has worked on airflow: the power pods are raised to channel the flow along the chassis, and an upper stabilising fin settles the rear end. The chamfered edges, a house trademark, are present and stiffen the part without adding weight to the body. It is offered in the usual carpet, turf and dirt variants, to match the grip of each track.
Part number, price and box contents
The body carries part number 0742 (UPC code 845937042033) and is listed at 37.00 dollars retail, with a MAP price of 31.45 dollars. It comes in standard-thickness clear polycarbonate, protected by a film, and is supplied with pre-cut window masks as well as a detailed decal sheet. Like all of the brand’s bodies, the Dragonator is designed and formed in the United States.
