The Team GFRP 2027 Mistress is the American brand’s new 1/10 oval kit, designed for late model and Midwest modified classes running on extreme high bite tracks. Listed as GFR-7018, the 2027 Mistress is announced at 625.95 USD.

A redesigned front end

The 2027 Mistress introduces a new front shock tower and a new camber link mounting design, both widening the adjustment range. The 70mm moulded front arms use narrow casters to gain stability without losing steering response. A moulded front bumper riser provides the clearance needed by late model and Midwest modified bumpers.

Weight bias and differential

The steering servo moves to a stock forward position, shifting weight towards the front of the chassis. At the rear, the moulded high roll centre hubs get a wider outer arm to extend the adjustment options. The gear differential uses a machined laydown delrin 39-tooth case, also chosen for its effect on weight distribution.

Shortened shocks

One last notable feature of the Team GFRP kit: the shortened shocks, which speed up suspension response. That is a consistent choice for the very grippy tracks targeted by the 2027 Mistress, where chassis reaction speed matters more than travel.
