A new technical signing ahead of the world championship: German driver Thilo Diekmann will now run Power HD GTS-2 servos in his cars. The driver, one of the most consistent names in international nitro onroad racing, joins the Hong Kong manufacturer only weeks away from a major deadline.
Power HD GTS-2 servos for a world championship finalist
Thilo Diekmann is no stranger to the international field: he has reached the final in both the World and European Championships, in 1:8 Onroad as well as in 1:10 Nitro Touring Car. He was notably a finalist in Bangkok two years ago. So it is a top-flight driver joining the Power HD race programme, whose GTS-2 series targets exactly what onroad racing demands: high torque, heat resistance over long runs and precise centring.
A season run in Capricorn colours
Thilo Diekmann is a team driver for the Italian manufacturer Capricorn, a long-standing benchmark in nitro onroad. The Power HD GTS-2 servos will therefore be fitted in his Italian-built chassis, both in practice and in competition.
Target: Gubbio and the IFMAR 1:10 Nitro World Championship
The calendar leaves no room for guesswork: Diekmann is among the bumper entry for the IFMAR 1:10 Nitro Touring Car World Championship, held in Gubbio, Italy. At that kind of event the servo choice matters a great deal, between the long runs and the shifting grip that shape an onroad endurance race.
