T-Work’s is filling two gaps in its electronics catalogue: the EA-038 series flat brushless sensor cables are now also available in 100 and 150mm. Two in-between lengths that were missing when it came to wiring a chassis neatly, without leaving a pointless loop trailing between the speed controller and the motor.

T-Work’s brushless sensor cables: eight lengths in the catalogue

With these two additions, the range covers 80, 100, 120, 150, 170, 200, 250 and 300mm. Enough to fit a very compact 1/10 touring car, where every centimetre of cable counts, as well as a 1/8 or a short course truck whose speed controller sits much further from the motor.

Flexible conductors and silicone sheathing

The brand quotes high-quality, flexible conductors protected by durable silicone sheathing. The benefit of a flat cable is twofold: it lies flat against the chassis or the side of the motor without being forced, and it copes better with vibration than a poorly secured round loom. On a race build, a sensor cable that rubs or pulls on its connector remains a classic cause of the motor cutting out mid-heat.

Pricing and distribution

On the official T-Work’s store, the 100mm cable is listed at $2.94 and the 150mm at $3.22, with the rest of the range running from $2.66 for the 80mm to $4.20 for the 300mm. In Europe, retailers Wartelle Shop, RC Team and Aigoin Racing are named as distribution points.
