VP-Pro launches a range of pre-glued 1/10 rally tyres

VP-Pro is taking on a class long underserved when it comes to spares: the Chinese manufacturer has announced a full range of 1/10 rally tyres available in three tread patterns, listed as VP-1001, VP-1002 and VP-1003.

Three tread patterns to cover 1/10 rally surfaces

Radio-controlled rally demands a particular compromise: the same car has to run on smooth tarmac, packed dirt and sometimes gravel. VP-Pro answers with three distinct tread designs rather than a single all-round tyre, which lets you match the rubber to the day’s layout. The brand claims a durable compound designed to go the distance without sacrificing grip.

Supplied mounted, glued and fitted with inserts

That is the most concrete selling point of this range: the tyres arrive already mounted and glued on 16-spoke wheels, with the foam inserts in place. No more measuring out cyanoacrylate, no more waiting for it to cure — the set bolts straight onto the car. Wheels are offered in black or white, so the rubber can be matched to the body.
