JConcepts is releasing a 1999 Ford F-250 Single Cab body intended for 1/10 monster trucks. Part number 0678, it takes up the proportions of the late-1990s Super Duty, a generation that marked Ford’s move to a platform dedicated to heavy-duty work.

The Super Duty silhouette in Lexan

The design chosen by JConcepts emphasises what gives the F-250 of that era its visual identity: a long hood, an upright cab, defined front fenders and a plain single-cab pickup bed. The bold grille, integrated headlights and Ford Blue Oval are faithfully reproduced, with that mix of ruggedness and presence that works well on a raised chassis.

13-inch wheelbase and universal fitment

The body is cut for a 13.00-inch wheelbase, the reference dimension for 1/10 competition monster trucks. It therefore fits a wide range of chassis on the market, and not just the JConcepts REACTOR Stage 2 it is shown on. The Lexan is supplied clear and protected by its film, leaving the paint scheme entirely up to you.

What is in the bag

Besides the clear polycarbonate shell and its protective film, JConcepts supplies pre-cut window masks, a detailed Ford decal sheet, plus a racerback and a visor to fit. Enough to go either for a scale finish faithful to the original pickup or for a more aggressive race livery.

Price

The 1999 Ford F-250 Single Cab body is announced at 45 dollars retail, with a minimum advertised price of 38.25 dollars. A welcome addition to the JConcepts monster truck catalogue, still largely dominated by more modern silhouettes.
