Max Mächler is the new EFRA 1/10 Electric Touring Spec European Champion. The German Awesomatix driver wrapped it up as early as the second final leg on Sunday 9 August 2026, at the Luxembourg Model Car Club track in Steinfort, at the end of a European Championship run from 7 to 9 August.
Two final wins, title settled before A3
Starting from pole, Mächler won the A1 and then the A2 legs. With two wins on the board, worth 2 points, the title was secured before the A3 even started, a leg he no longer needed to run. It is a return to the top for the German, last crowned in this class back in 2018.
An all-Awesomatix podium
His team-mate Olivier Bultynck took second place on 3 points by winning A3, while Louis Kretschmer, also on Awesomatix, completed the brand’s clean sweep on 5 points. Defending champion Adam Izsay, on Xray, had to settle for fourth on 8 points, ahead of Lukas Ellerbrock (Awesomatix, 9 points) and Jesper Rasmussen.
