Furitek is renewing its flagship micro-crawler transmission: the Mini Stellar Air GEN 2026 is presented as the lightest and most compact transmission the manufacturer has ever designed for the Axial SCX24.

Mini Stellar Air GEN 2026: a completely redesigned housing

The housing has been reworked to save weight and bulk without losing rigidity. The benefit shows up mainly inside the chassis: the transmission frees up room around the rear axle, which makes cable routing and custom builds easier. Furitek also claims better weight distribution, a sensitive point on a 1/24 machine where a few grams moved around change how the truck crawls.

Inside are machined hardened-steel gears and, above all, a 1:43 ratio strictly identical to the SCX24’s stock transmission. No gearing recalculation is required: speed and torque references remain those of the original kit.

Three versions depending on the electronics already fitted

  • FUR-2825 — Mini Stellar Air ($99.99): the transmission alone, with the Mini Komodo V2 brushless motor already installed. A compatible Furitek brushless ESC must be added, such as the MicroPython or Lizard Pro.
  • FUR-2826 — Mini Stellar Air Power System ($149.99): the complete package, with the MicroPython 25A/50A ESC, its WiFi module and the signal adapter. The ESC handles FOC control, wireless setup from the app and real-time telemetry.
  • FUR-2827 — Mini Stellar Air Unity ($149.99): the all-in-one version, with the Mini Unity 2-in-1 system that merges ESC and motor into a single unit. The housing here is designed specifically for that combo.

Availability

All three part numbers are announced as compatible with most aftermarket SCX24 chassis. Furitek is including a free Flex LCG skid plate with every pre-order.
