JConcepts race team update, late July 2026: 19 drivers from buggy to dirt oval

American brand JConcepts has just released its race team update covering weeks 3 to 5 of July 2026. This JConcepts race team update brings together nineteen drivers entered at eleven tracks spread across the United States, Canada and Australia, with results ranging from 1/10 electric buggy to 1/8 nitro truggy, plus a strong dirt oval presence.
JConcepts race team update: California sets the tone
At AMain Hobbies Outback Raceway in Chico, round four of the Nor Cal RC Monster Trucks Points Series went the way of Jeremy Bunting, who won the Retro class and reached the semifinals in Shotgun REACTOR. Further south, at SDRC Raceway in San Diego, Chris Raceles took third overall in 40+ Mod 2WD Buggy at the Point Break trophy event. Finally, at the Golden State Dirt Invert held at Auburn RC, Randy Tanaka finished third in Expert 13.5 4WD Buggy.
Texas: a nitro win and a short course pole
Thornhill Racing Circuit in Hutto hosted the final round of the Road To The Worlds Series. Dillon Caldwell won the Expert Nitro Buggy class, with Joel Rodriguez rounding things out in fourth in the same category. Over at N-Control RC Racing Circuit in Dale, the Lone Star Dirt Oval Series saw Kevin McNatt take TQ and the win in SC Mod.
Iowa: the biggest haul
The Meltdown, run at Send It R.C. Speedway in Adel, turned into a showcase for David Fast: double TQ and double win in Open Late Model and 410 Sprint. At The RC Compound in Dallas Center, Brandon Kearney finished fifth in Pro 1/8 Nitro Buggy before claiming TQ and the win in Open 1/8 Nitro Truggy. Lastly, the American Shootout at Bad Fast Hobbies in Sioux City saw Jake Wiggs collect three TQs and two wins across 17.5 2WD Buggy, 13.5 Stadium Truck, 13.5 4WD Buggy and Mod 2WD Buggy.
From Wisconsin to Pennsylvania
Ryan Derenne posted seventh in 1/8 Electric Truggy and fourth in Mod Stadium Truck at The Yard RC Raceway in Luxemburg, Wisconsin. In Michigan, Adam Forist completed the TQ and win double in Open Late Model at The Krater Dirt Oval Raceway in Ionia. At TARCAR in Toledo, Ohio, Tony Sosnowicz took second in 1/8 Nitro Buggy then TQ and the win in 1/8 Electric Buggy, a class in which Chuck Berg completed the podium in third.
In West Virginia, Altitude RC in Beckley saw Casey Bias secure a double TQ along with two wins in Expert 17.5 2WD and 13.5 4WD Buggy, while Colton Bias won the Adult Novice 17.5 2WD Buggy class. In Pennsylvania, Jonathan Sohl stood out in the lower mains in Intermediate 1/8 Electric Buggy at LCRC Raceway in Oakland Mills, and Mark Baldwin picked up two runner-up finishes, in Mod 2WD Buggy and Stadium Truck, at Pit Stop Hobbies in Mount Joy.
Canada and Australia complete the picture
The JConcepts race team update also crosses borders: Peter Tozser finished third overall in 1/8 Nitro Buggy at R/C GEARS in Calgary, Alberta, and Jarod Ment took second in Mod 2WD Buggy and the win in Mod 4WD Buggy in Canberra, Australia.
