Accessory manufacturer VP-Pro is expanding its 1/8 off-road catalogue with the RS-940-XB8, a compact front bumper designed specifically for the XRAY XB8’26 buggy. The part relies on a reduced footprint to leave access to the front differential completely clear, without giving up on protecting the chassis.

A compact front bumper that frees up the differential

That is the key selling point of this VP-Pro front bumper: its compact shape leaves the front differential housing directly accessible. On a 1/8 buggy, changing the front diff oil normally means removing the bumper and its foam before you can even reach the housing screws. The RS-940-XB8 removes that step and saves precious minutes between two heats, when pit time is counted in tens of seconds.

Protecting the front of the chassis without complicating the build

Moulded from a material the brand describes as durable, it absorbs frontal impacts and protects the front of the chassis, the area most exposed when you go off track or get tangled up in the first corner. It bolts straight onto the XB8’26‘s original mounting points, with no tools or extra parts required.
